Copper Shield 45 is a multi-season ablative bottom paint with 45% cuprous oxide content for protection in moderate fouling waters. The paint's copolymer base renders a smooth finish with durability and abrasion resistance. Copper Shield 45 provides anti-fouling protection against barnacles, algae and hydroids in salt and fresh water on boat bottoms only. Blue Water Copper Shield 45 has universal application over all types of properly prepared bottom paints (except aluminum). It can be applied directly over properly prepared ablatives, epoxies, and vinyls, and most any other hard or ablative bottom paints. This ablative is perfect for powerboats and sailboats, fast fiberglass boats, as well as wood and steel hulls. Available in gallons or quarts.
